Job Title: Labor & Delivery RN Location: ROCHESTER, MI 48307 Hours Per Week: 36.00 (3*12) Shift Time: Night Shift - 7pm - 7:30am; 3- days a week Schedule Notes: *Unit: Labor & Delivery 3 years of L&D experience required. 1 year Cerner experience Proficiency in labor, postpartum, and special care. Certifications Required: BLS, NRP Contract 13 weeks Job Summary: The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. This role supports safe maternal and neonatal outcomes through skilled clinical assessment, monitoring, and coordination with the interdisciplinary care team. Responsibilities: " Provide direct nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients. " Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition. " Assist with labor management, delivery procedures, and immediate post-delivery care. " Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and neonatal teams to implement care plans. " Educate patients and families on labor progression, postpartum care, and recovery. " Document all nursing care accurately and in compliance with hospital standards. Requirements: " Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience Required " Minimum 1 year of Cerner EMR experience Required " Proficiency in labor, postpartum, and special care nursing Required " BLS and NRP certifications Required Education: Bachelor s Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required License: Current Michigan State Registered Nurse (RN) License Required
