Job DescriptionITG Communications is hiring for a Project Manager in Wichita, KSThe Project Manager – Construction is responsible for managing day-to-day activities on assigned fiber, utility, or infrastructure construction projects. This role supports the full project lifecycle from planning and coordination to execution and closeout, working under the guidance of senior leadership and in partnership with internal teams and external vendors.ResponsibilitiesManage construction project scope, schedule, and resources in alignment with company and client expectationsCoordinate with field crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and permitting entities to keep work on trackMonitor job progress and resolve issues related to timeline, materials, or resource availabilityEnsure all work complies with safety protocols, local regulations, and engineering designsTrack project expenses, change orders, and documentation for reporting and billingCommunicate regularly with Senior Project Manager, Director of Operations, and client stakeholdersPrepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly project reports, job logs, and schedule updatesSupport job site visits and quality control checks as requiredAssist with project forecasting, manpower planning, and procurement coordinationKey Measures / Key Performance IndicatorsProject completion against budget and scheduleAccuracy of reporting and documentationCompliance with permitting, environmental, and safety requirementsStakeholder communication and responsivenessReduction in change orders and reworkRequirementsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience acceptedExperience3–5 years of experience managing construction or fiber-related projects Familiarity with construction management software, schedules, and permittingStrong problem-solving, time management, and communication skillsExposureInternal: Works with field crews, operations leadership, safety, permitting, and financeExternal: Interfaces with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and client representativesFrequent site visits and travel to project locations requiredFactors critical to success at ITG Communications for this position:Execution Support: Manages field and vendor coordination with minimal disruptionGrowth Potential: Demonstrates initiative and leadership in preparation for advancementProcess Discipline: Ensures standardization and compliance throughout the project lifecyclePhysical RequirementsAbility to walk job sites, navigate uneven terrain, and perform field inspectionsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs for materials or equipment transportVisual acuity to review construction documents and field dataMust hold a valid driver’s license and travel as neededAdditional CommentsITG is an equal employment opportunity employer.
