Forklift Operator

*1st shift or 2nd / FL Operator (Sit Down Propane)/ Mon-Fri / $18-19*/hr *Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks, to efficiently load, unload, and move materials within our distribution center. Your expertise in warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling will ensure smooth operations and timely shipments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where safety, mechanical knowledge, and precision are paramount. *Duties* * Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, crane equipment, and other heavy machinery to load and unload shipments * Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and process orders * Assist with order picking using pickers and other mechanical tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency * Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and secure placement of materials on pallets or racks * Conduct routine inspections of equipment in compliance with OSHA standards and report any mechanical issues promptly * Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying inventory accuracy and maintaining detailed logs * Handle heavy lifting tasks safely using pallet jacks and other mechanical aids while adhering to safety protocols *Experience* * Proven warehouse experience with a focus on distribution or logistics operations * Hands-on experience operating forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment * Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order processing * Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling * Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues * Experience in construction or industrial settings is a plus but not required * Previous supervisory experience as a warehouse supervisor is advantageous but not mandatory Join us in creating an energetic environment where your skills make a real impact!
