Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Barista/Assistant Manager to join our team. This dual role is ideal for someone who loves coffee, enjoys working with people, and has a knack for leadership. As a Barista/Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting in managing the daily operations of the coffee house.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following health and safety guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming environment for all guests.
- Assist in managing staff, including training, scheduling, and ensuring a positive work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash management.
- Support the manager in day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Contribute to the growth of the coffee house by participating in marketing and community outreach initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barista is required; experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred.
- Passion for coffee and a deep understanding of coffee brewing methods and equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Leadership abilities with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
