PCA Personal Care Assistant

Personal Care Assistant We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Care Assistant to join our amazing team. We are looking for someone that is able to work non-traditional part-time/PRN in Anderson, Indiana. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to build strong relationships with our clients and co-workers. Responsibilities: Provide assistance to clients with daily living activities Assist clients with dressing, bathing, eating, and with socialization needs Provide general care and sanitation services to patients Clean work areas, floors, and patient rooms to maintain patient care facilities Monitor and maintain supplies inventory Other non-clinical care tasks and companion services as required Skills: Proven experience as care provider or other relevant position such as a nurse, personal assistant, housekeeper or caregiver Excellent knowledge of English (oral and written) and English communication methods (verbal and written) Ability to handle client tensions/disasters with patience and compassion Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with clients of all ages Job Types: Part-time, PRN Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week Benefits: Paid orientation Paid training Medical Specialty: Home Health Schedule: Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Weekends as needed Application Question(s): Are you able to work weekends?
