Retread Technician

JOB TITLE: Retread Pay Rate: $17A Retread Technician performs functions from inspecting, preparing, and finishing in the remanufacturing of commercial tires in a variety of applications, from package delivery to food service distribution. These technicians are accountable for properly and safely performing a wide variety of services needed for all vehicle/commercial tires.Job Descriptions:Inspecting and buffing worn tires for remanufacturing.Applying a variety of tread designs to tires prepared for remanufacturing.Finishing of completed product, including the handling and final steps in the remanufacturing process.Quality control of finished product.Tracking and monitoring data associated with the processing of tires throughout the retread process.Observing and complying with all safety and liability guidelines and policies.Using protective safety equipment to ensure safe operation of machines.Any other duties requested by management. Requirements:High School Diploma or GED preferred.Previous experience in manufacturing a plus, but we train.Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.Must be goal oriented and able to consistently meet quality and production requirements.Must possess a mechanical aptitude and energy.Safety Requirements:Perform all safety related items as per the Employee Safety ManualUse all safety related PPE such as gloves, safety glasses while doing any workLearn and maintain all lifting proceduresLearn and maintain all general housekeeping and ensure daily performanceMust pass the Drug Test and physical.
