As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant.Job Summary:The General Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experience while achieving outstanding pizza quality, on time orders, sales growth, profitability and above all, operational excellence. This role requires experience with restaurant management such as leadership, business management, operations, people development and customer service. This position works closely with the Area Manager to ensure all store operations are consistently exceeding expectations.Key Responsibilities:LeadershipMotivate and inspire the team to deliver all orders according to timing standardsLead the development of the management teamEnsure a safe work environment by implementing and monitoring safety programs and compliance with regulationsEvaluate employee performance based on clear standards, holding individuals accountable for their rolesBusiness ManagementMaximize profitability by executing the business plan, controlling costs, and utilizing forecasting toolsImplement company-wide marketing programs and develop local strategies to drive salesExecute and deliver all carry out and delivery orders with the assistance of 3rd Party partners and internal sales associatesForecast sales and project labor for scheduling purposes to meet store budgetsConduct business with fairness, adhering to legal requirements, and maintaining ethical practicesOperationsOversee all pizzeria operations, maintaining the highest standards of quality, food service and cleanlinessCollaborate with Kitchen Manager and back-of-house team to deliver outstanding pizzasEfficiently manage labor resources while delivering exceptional serviceExecute the Retail Wine and Beer program, through weekly tasting eventsUphold food safety, handling, and sanitation requirements to ensure the well-being of employees and customersHiring & People DevelopmentHire friendly individuals who embody our commitment to delivering a best-in-class product and excellent serviceUtilize training programs to enhance employee performance and customer serviceFoster the skills, knowledge, and career growth of all employees, creating a positive work environmentConduct on-going training programs to inform and teach all hourly team members and bartenders about product offeringsIdentify and develop talent within the team, providing opportunities for advancementCustomer ServiceProvide a consistently exceptional customer service experience, ensuring total customer satisfactionRespond promptly and positively to customer concerns, proactively resolving potential issuesMaintain a professional demeanor, leading by exampleEnable the team to achieve the goal of being every guest's "Favorite Neighborhood Pizza Shop"Qualifications:Minimum 2 years' experience in management rolesStrong leadership and supervisory skillsExcellent organizational and planning skillsExperience with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Drive) and the ability to learn other cloud-based programsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practicesStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively with staff and managementHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to attain a ServSafe Food Managers License, Alcohol Awareness Certification and Restaurant Managers LicensePreferred Skills:Hospitality or business degreeExperience with industry specific platforms: MarginEdge, Slack, 7Shifts, SquareBi-lingual (English/Spanish)Full-service experience and/or bar program experienceBenefits:Salary range: $73,000 - $85,000Monthly bonus eligibleHealth, dental, and vision insurance - Kaiser Permanente and Delta Dental & Vision - Eligible after 30 days of employment401(k) plan with a 4% company match, eligibility after 1 year of employment120 hours PTO, eligibility after 45 days of employmentEmployee discounts on food and beveragesOpportunities for growth and advancement within the company
