Hiring: US Application Developer – RDBMS | Dallas, TX📍 Location: Dallas, TX🏢 Work Arrangement: Onsite – Local Candidates Only💼 Employment: Contract🌐 Domain: Utilities / EnergyWe are looking for a skilled Application Support Analyst / Application Developer with strong experience in the Utilities & Energy (E&U) domain to support mission-critical applications such as ADMS, OMS, CIS, and Work Management platforms.The ideal candidate will have strong SQL/PLSQL expertise, application debugging experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production incidents in a high-availability, 24x7 environment supporting grid and customer operations.🔹 Required Technical SkillsStrong hands-on experience in Utilities / Energy (E&U) applicationsStrong SQL / PL-SQL experienceBasic scripting/programming knowledge (Shell or Java is an advantage)Experience with debugging, log analysis, and production support toolsUnderstanding of system integrations, APIs, and data flowsFamiliarity with JIRA or other ticketing toolsExperience supporting production environments and resolving critical incidents🔹 Soft SkillsExcellent communication skills, particularly during high-severity incidentsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work effectively under pressure in mission-critical environmentsCollaborative team player with strong stakeholder management skills🔹 Nice to HaveBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related fieldExperience supporting utility clients or energy-sector applicationsExposure to monitoring tools, automation, and cloud platforms🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesProvide application support for ADMS, OMS, CIS, and Work Management systemsTroubleshoot application, database, and integration issuesAnalyze logs and perform root-cause analysisWrite and troubleshoot SQL/PLSQL queriesSupport production incidents and participate in 24x7 support/incident managementCollaborate with development, infrastructure, database, and business teamsMonitor application health and ensure high system availabilityDocument incidents, resolutions, and support procedures
