Senior Mission Critical Construction Project ManagerLocation: Ashburn, VASalary: $170,000 – $215,000 Base Salary + Long-Term Project StabilityWe are seeking a senior-level construction leader with strong experience overseeing large-scale mechanical and electrical coordination efforts within highly technical construction environments. This role is heavily focused on driving execution, quality, commissioning coordination, and operational readiness across complex infrastructure systems.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being deeply involved in field execution while also partnering closely with engineering, operations, commissioning, and project leadership teams.What You'll Be DoingThis role will serve as a key technical construction leader focused on MEP coordination, commissioning execution, quality management, and operational integration.Responsibilities Include:Lead coordination and execution efforts across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls systemsDrive collaboration between field teams, subcontractors, engineers, commissioning teams, and operations stakeholdersOversee MEP installation quality, system integration, and schedule alignmentSupport technical reviews including shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and coordination modelsParticipate in BIM coordination and clash resolution workflowsManage equipment delivery coordination, turnover planning, and commissioning readinessSupport commissioning execution, issue tracking, and operational turnover processesConduct field walkthroughs to verify installation quality and adherence to project standardsAssist with change management, scheduling updates, and construction planning effortsHelp drive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned across the project lifecyclePartner with project leadership to proactively identify and resolve field execution challengesRequired Experience8+ years of experience supporting complex MEP construction projects with proven experience supporting hyperscale data center projects.Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical infrastructure systemsExperience coordinating across multiple trades within large-scale construction environmentsAbility to manage technical project documentation, coordination efforts, and execution workflowsStrong communication and leadership capabilities within fast-paced project environmentsExperience supporting commissioning, startup, or turnover activitiesPreferred ExperienceBIM coordination tools such as Navisworks, BIM 360, Revit, or AutoCADExperience working with commissioning teams and operational turnover processesExposure to controls systems, automation, and integrated building systemsExperience supporting hyperscale or highly technical infrastructure programsInnovar Group is a team of experienced talent agents dedicated to providing top-notch recruitment services across the United States.
