Senior PL/SQL DeveloperLocation: Menlo Park, CAWork Model: Hybrid (3–4 days onsite per week)Experience Required: 8–12 YearsJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions while ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. This role requires close collaboration with DBAs and application development teams to troubleshoot issues, tune queries, and support production environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning to improve database efficiency and application performance.Collaborate with DBAs and application developers to identify and resolve database-related issues.Troubleshoot and support production incidents in a high-availability environment.Analyze execution plans and implement performance improvement recommendations.Participate in database design, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to database development standards.Required Skills8–12 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Database development.Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.Experience with query optimization and performance tuning.Ability to analyze execution plans and resolve performance bottlenecks.Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting database issues.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in high-availability and large-scale enterprise environments.Familiarity with Oracle performance monitoring and tuning tools.Experience collaborating with cross-functional development and infrastructure teams.
