OT - Occupational Therapist
Occupational TherapistThe Occupational Therapist will effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders, developing appropriate plans of care in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice standards. Utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practice, the therapist will provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions. The role involves administering various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and exercises.ResponsibilitiesAssess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in clinical records.Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness, modifying services as needed.Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.Effectively communicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans.Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records in compliance with company policy.Participate in required meetings, including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students.Adhere to NBCOT and state-required practice acts and code of conduct during professional practice.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure1+ years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation preferred.Active OT license required at the time of submission.New graduates considered with Level II experience.ScheduleThis position works 8-hour days, with a day shift schedule.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
