It supports a diverse client base across industries including healthcare, real estate, technology, professional services, nonprofits, and high-net-worth individuals.The firm provides tax, audit, financial reporting, business valuation, and trust and estate services while maintaining a flexible, inclusive environment focused on professional development.About the OpportunityThe Infrastructure Lead is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for the design, performance, security, and reliability of the firm’s IT infrastructure and managed client environments.This position provides technical direction for infrastructure projects, leads the infrastructure team, and serves as the highest escalation point for complex technical issues. The role works within a Microsoft-focused, virtualized environment and collaborates closely with an internal software development team.Responsibilities• Manage the availability, performance, capacity, and lifecycle of virtualization, storage, networking, identity, and cloud infrastructure.• Define technical direction for infrastructure projects, including vendor evaluation, cost analysis, and implementation planning.• Serve as the final escalation point for complex technical issues across internal and client environments.• Lead and develop the infrastructure team, including direct supervision of a Systems Administrator.• Oversee infrastructure security, including hardening standards, patching, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans, including testing and documentation.• Develop automation to reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency.• Collaborate with software development teams on CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and application infrastructure.• Maintain infrastructure documentation, technical standards, and operational runbooks.• Support managed services delivery for external clients, including infrastructure design and technical escalation.Requirements• 8+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or systems engineering.• Expertise with Windows Server, Windows desktop operating systems, Active Directory, and Entra ID.• Hands-on experience with Hyper-V, including clustering, storage, and virtual network design.• Strong networking knowledge, including firewalls, VLANs, routing, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.• Experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, and Conditional Access.• Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity design and testing.• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning.• Proficiency with Windows and Linux scripting and automation.• Working knowledge of database administration and database performance management.• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies.• Bachelor’s degree, relevant IT experience, and/or recognized IT certifications.Pay Range and Compensation Package• $110,000 - $140,000 per year, based on experience, education, qualifications, and other relevant factors.• Eligibility for performance-based bonuses.• Comprehensive benefits package.Benefits & Perks• Unlimited paid time off.• Medical insurance.• Dental insurance.• Vision insurance.• 401(k) retirement plan.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
