Estimator/Project Manager

Position Title: Estimator / Project Manager Business Unit: Northend Gear and Machine Location: Fairfield, OH Reports To: Site Manage The Estimator / Project Manager will be responsible for estimating a variety of machining projects including shafts, gearing, pulleys and other miscellaneous machining projects. Our ideal candidate will have: Knowledge of an array of machines and machine processes utilized in a manufacturing environment Possess the ability to use precision measuring equipment tools to take accurate measurements for reverse engineering projects to be estimated Proficiently read and interpret engineering drawings to provide customer feedback and produce estimates Possess the ability to multitask across a wide variety of skilled labor, office, and customer needs Utilize good verbal and written communication skills, able to read, comprehend and create written and verbal instructions in the English language Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers Follow all company and common-sense safety policies, while using all required personal protective equipment, when necessary Contribute to our team environment by anticipating the needs of co-workers, bringing a positive attitude into our culture and showing an eagerness to discover and share new opportunities for our organization Desired Qualifications Associates or Bachelors (preferred) Two+ years of experience experience (in lieu of education) Five+ years of documented machinist experience required Knowledge of the properties of metal and material required Knowledge of machining principles (preferred) Knowledge of E2 / JobBoss ERP system (preferred) Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Ability to work in a team based environment and achieve common goals Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in the workplace Health Plans | Paid Holidays | Paid Time Off | 401K | Life Insurance | Structured Bonus Plans Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) 4% Match 401(k) matching AD&D insurance Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Relocation assistance Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
