Junior Wireless Engineer

Silotech is recruiting for a Junior Wireless Engineer to support timely on site corporate and commercial reach back for all technical sustainment operational assistance required to support AT&T deployed solutions. This position is for consideration of a proposal contract. Location Denver, Colorado Locations span across Nebraska, Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska, Guam Japan and South Korea Clearance SECRET Essential Roles and Responsibilities: Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate wireless local network (WLAN) infrastructures, systems and subsystems. Function as a technical specialist for WLAN activities, such as, heatmap generation and analysis, system scaling and distribution, wireless controller configuration, and access point placement. Performance maintenance of wireless network to ensure correct operation with minimal interruption. Implement wireless network security measures and continuous optimization. Research and recommend wireless network communications hardware and software. Establishes and maintain wireless network communications hardware and software. Establishes and maintain wireless network performance baselines and troubleshot network problems. Support lead wireless engineer in design, documentation and delivery of wireless system, subsystems and end-user integration. Analyzes and resolves program deficiencies. Executes technical investigations of wireless network. Consolidates design efforts on major projects. Qualifications: Education A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred. Advanced degree in related field or equivalent experience; or equivalent combination of training; certifications; work and/or military experience is highly desired.
