If you are a builder who thinks in systems, leads with soul, and is passionate about the next generation encountering Jesus — this role was designed for you.Role OverviewThe Youth & Young Adults Pastor provides director-level spiritual and strategic leadership over Shoreline’s entire Next Gen ecosystem. This leader oversees youth ministry (Middle School and High School) at North Campus and provides church-wide strategic vision for Young Adults ministry, with the long-term mandate of building a unified, scalable Next Gen culture across all Shoreline locations.The ideal candidate is an experienced ministry builder who combines pastoral heart with organizational intelligence — someone who develops leaders, builds systems that outlast them, and can articulate a compelling vision that parents, students, and volunteers want to rally around.Key ResponsibilitiesVision & Strategy•       Develop and champion a unified Next Gen strategy across North Campus, South Campus, and Online that serves students from middle school through young adulthood.•       Build a nationally replicable model for next-generation engagement — from first-time guest to discipled leader.•       Establish clear discipleship pathways and milestones across each life stage.Youth Ministry Leadership (North Campus)•       Provide direct pastoral oversight for Middle School and High School ministries at North Campus.•       Lead, develop, and coach staff and volunteer teams for both youth environments.•       Ensure Sunday experiences and midweek programming are spiritually engaging, culturally relevant, and aligned with Shoreline’s mission.Young Adults Vision (Church-Wide)•       Cast and refine the vision for Young Adults ministry (ages 18–29) across all campuses, in alignment with Shoreline’s existing Tuesday night community.•       Partner with campus leadership to ensure contextual implementation at each site.•       Build pathways that move young adults from engagement to ownership within the church.Leader Development•       Recruit, train, and invest in a diverse volunteer and staff team that reflects Shoreline’s community.•       Identify and develop emerging Next Gen leaders for long-term ministry impact.•       Build a leadership pipeline that creates sustainability and reduces single-point-of-failure risk.Family & Community Integration•       Build strong relationships with parents as partners in the discipleship of their children and teenagers.•       Collaborate with Children’s Ministry to create a seamless K–12 journey.•       Engage schools, local organizations, and community partners to expand ministry reach.Staff Collaboration•       Function as a full contributor to the broader Shoreline staff team — participating in strategic planning, all-staff rhythms, and cross-departmental initiatives.•       Work closely with Worship & Production, Pastoral Care, and Campus leadership to ensure integration across ministries.Stewardship•       Develop and manage annual budgets for youth and young adult ministries across campuses.•       Oversee event, retreat, and programming budgets with financial transparency and accountability.Qualifications•       Minimum 7 years of pastoral ministry experience, with demonstrated leadership in youth and/or young adult contexts.•       Proven track record of building ministry systems, developing leaders, and growing Next Gen communities.•       Theological training (degree or equivalent experience).•       Strong communicator — effective in the pulpit, in the room, and with parents.•       Experience managing staff, volunteers, and multi-site or multi-program environments.•       Financial literacy and experience managing ministry budgets.•       A deep personal faith in Jesus Christ and an authentic love for the next generation.Who We’re Looking For•       A builder, not just a maintainer — someone energized by creating what doesn’t yet exist.•       A systems thinker who can design for scale without losing pastoral presence.•       A developer of leaders who finds greater joy in raising others than in personal platform.•       A bridge-builder between students, young adults, families, volunteers, staff, and campuses.•       A collaborative team player who thrives in a healthy, high-expectation staff culture.•       A servant-hearted pastor who leads with integrity, grace, and a Love Revolution spirit.How to ApplySubmit the following materials by May 31, 2026:•       Resume•       Cover Letter (including your philosophy of Next Gen ministry)•       Three References: pastoral, professional, and personalSend all materials to: dr.dickey@shoreline.net
