Radiation Therapist Location: San Angelo, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,746 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Radiation Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: 3 years preferred; minimum of 2 years will be considered License: ARRT (T) required Certifications: BLS, ARRT T Must-Have: Graduated from an accredited radiology program Strongly preferred 3 years of experience; minimum of 2 years considered Description: ARRT (T) is required. Must have graduated from an accredited radiology program. Experience in respiratory gating, radiation safety, vision RT, and billing for treatment types and devices is required. Experience with adult outpatient care and CBCT/kV/mV imaging is necessary. Familiarity with external beam therapy and intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) is essential. Experience with Varian TrueBeam and ARIA is preferred. The position involves managing patient care with a daily census of 31. The unit is equipped with 2 Varian Edge TrueBeams with advanced imaging capabilities. Collaboration with a team of radiation therapists is expected. On-site support from physics and dosimetry departments is available. A strong emphasis on radiation safety and patient care is paramount.
