Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tax Preparer located in the Greater Houston area. The Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparing and filing accurate tax returns, analyzing financial statements, staying updated on tax laws, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Additional responsibilities include providing clients with guidance on tax and financial matters, while maintaining confidential client records and delivering exceptional customer service. Qualifications Proficiency in Tax Preparation and a strong understanding of Federal and State Tax LawsExperience with Financial Statements and Finance analysisKnowledge of current Tax Regulations and related compliance requirementsStrong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlinesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)Certification as a Tax Preparer, Enrolled Agent, or CPA (preferred but not required)Experience with tax preparation software is an asset
