A full-time Sign Language Interpreter is needed to provide specialized communication support for a high school student in a Minneapolis, MN school setting. This contract position spans from the start date ASAP through the end of the current school year, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the student's educational experience.Key Responsibilities:Facilitate clear and effective communication between the student and educators by interpreting spoken language into sign language and vice versa.Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure the student's needs are met within the classroom environment.Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while supporting the student's participation in academic and extracurricular activities.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings.Strong fluency in American Sign Language (ASL).Ability to work independently and adapt to the needs of a high school student.Understanding of the educational environment and commitment to supporting student learning.Location:Minneapolis, MN (work will take place at the high school).This contract role is full-time and requires immediate availability.
