Consumer Lending Processor

General Purpose: The primary function of this job is to provide assistance to the Consumer Lending staff as required mainly in a clerical status by fully using job-relevant technical skills, maintaining/updating technical skills and seeking to enhance service skills. This position requires the ability to make decisions within established guidelines, the willingness to work within a sales environment, and the ability to be a team player in an organization that values the spirit of teamwork.Fundamental DutiesResponsible to maintain the highest standards of Integrity, Personal Responsibility, Sense of Community, and Teamwork by self-example within and outside Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union.Responsible for building member loyalty through an uncompromised commitment to meeting and exceeding members' expectations.Responsible for developing and maintain relationships with credit union members by determining member needs and maximizing all opportunities to sell additional credit union products and services.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the filing of Title and UCC liens as required.Complete processing of Indirect Contracts. Responsible for processing the Indirect application, note, disbursement of funds and all required paperwork in accordance with the credit union loan policies and procedures. Processing and maintenance of the Indirect Incentive program and chargebacks.DMV and UCC liens receipt tracking and attend to the renewal or release of filings. Follow up with members, mss's/dealers if a lien receipt is not received in the allotted time.File gap & gap advantage claims and uploading required documents to website.Process Collateral Protection Reports and make necessary account changes within the Core System for premiums and payments.Responsible for reviewing all required documents and disbursement of funds for all direct loans in accordance with the credit union loan policies and procedures.Process Paid Loan ReportsProcess Various Loan Servicing ReportsProcess Indirect payoff checks if the amount is in error. The dealer is contacted, and the difference is discussed, and a solution is found.Maintain and save Indirect contract documents.Pulls loan files as requested.Provides assistance in imputing data to computer, recording information as required, photocopy, typing, and general office routine.Maintains a professional and positive member service environment that assures prompt attention to member needs.Other Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for knowing the credit union's product line and services including rates, terms, and fees. Responsible for assisting manager in training new employees in these areas. Researches and prepares reports as requested by management. Perform other duties as may be assigned by manager.
