Account Executive/Account Manager/Sales Leader
We are looking for an Account Manager who is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing sales strategies, mentoring team members, and managing performance to meet or exceed targets. They establish sales processes, analyze market trends, and foster a productive, high-performing team culture. Key duties include forecasting, CRM management, and nurturing client relationships. JOB DESCRIPTION The Sales Leader will be responsible for setting high-level sales strategies, managing large sales teams, building key client relationships, and ensuring the company consistently meets its sales objectives. This role demands strong leadership, long-term vision, and the ability to scale sales operations effectively. At least 15+ years of experience in selling IT Services in Tier-1 or Tier-2 competitive organizations, strong knowledge of global delivery model (GDM) and methodologies and should be familiar with cross selling various service lines for customers. Roles and Responsibilities:Develop and execute the company’s overall sales strategy to meet business growth and revenue targets.Lead, mentor, and manage the entire sales team, including Regional Managers, Area Managers, and Sales Executives.Set ambitious sales goals and regularly review sales performance across regions and product lines.Build and nurture relationships with key clients, high-value accounts, distributors, and strategic partners.Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to make informed business decisions.Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, operations, and finance teams to ensure aligned business strategies.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for the sales department.Establish clear sales processes, performance management systems, and reporting structures.Represent the company at key client meetings, industry events, and leadership forums.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.Proven experience as a Sales Head, National Sales Manager, or equivalent senior leadership role.Strong leadership, team management, and strategic planning skills.Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.Deep understanding of market dynamics, sales analytics, and revenue forecasting.Proficiency in CRM systems, data reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.Experience:Minimum 10-12 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or strategic sales role.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Company-wide revenue growthAchievement of national/regional sales targetsMarket share expansionCustomer acquisition and retention ratesSales team productivity and leadership effectivenessDiscover our Job Description category to find out more about to explore various job description templates and roles and responsibilities of popular careers in 2025.
