Quality Inspector (Aerospace)

Quality Inspector - AerospaceWe are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team. While aerospace experience is not required, it is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control inspections, utilizing tools such as calipers and micrometers, and will be proficient in reading blueprints.ResponsibilitiesPerform visual and dimensional inspections for Receiving, First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections on aviation parts from details to top assemblies.Understand and apply visual and cosmetic standards.Use measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gages, and indicators.Write inspection reports and nonconformance reports.Conduct reviews of supplier certifications for conformance to requirements.Collect data for statistical analysis.Understand and interpret tolerances as well as geometrical and positional tolerance requirements.Participate in corrective actions and understand root causes.Essential SkillsAbility to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.High school diploma is required.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the aerospace industry is preferred.Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections to set standards.Why Work Here?Enjoy the benefits of a contract-to-hire position with access to the company gym.
