Strong understanding of: Oracle Database Administration Oracle SQL PL/SQL Query tuning Execution plans Performance diagnostics Experience working with: AWR ASH SQL Tuning Optimizer behavior Statistics management Experience developing automation solutions for database operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear operational recommendations. Desired Skills & ExperienceAI & Automation Understanding of: MCP (Model Context Protocol) Agentic AI architectures Agent-to-agent workflows Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) Generative AI concepts Familiarity with AI governance, explainability, and trusted data practices. What You Will Be DoingConsult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Database Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Database Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Database Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Database Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
