Adult Day Care Program Director

Location: Temporary in Jackson Heights, Queens, and will eventually move to Corona, QueensSalary: $65K-$80KBilingual Bengali strongly preferredWe are seeking an experienced and driven Program Director to lead the development and launch of a new Adult Day Care program in Queens. This is a unique opportunity to join at the ground level during the licensing, paperwork, and construction phase and play a key leadership role in building the program from the ground up.The Program Director will initially work out of our Jackson Heights office and will transition to overseeing daily operations at our Corona, Queens location once construction and licensing are complete. The ideal candidate must have prior Adult Day Care experience and a strong understanding of New York State regulations, program development, and operational oversight.Key Responsibilities for Adult Day Care Program Director:Develop policies and procedures in compliance with NYS Adult Day Care regulations.Develop program structure, activity calendars, and service models.Design and implement engaging, culturally competent activity programming.Establish intake procedures and participant assessment protocols.Build community partnerships and referral networks.Develop marketing strategies to drive enrollment.Oversee daily operations once the program is open.Hire, train, and supervise staff, including activity coordinators and support personnel.Ensure compliance with all state, city, and federal regulations.Monitor attendance, documentation, care plans, and quality assurance standards.Build a positive, mission-driven culture focused on quality participant care.Serve as the primary point of contact for families, staff, and regulatory agencies.Implement systems to support long-term growth and program expansion.Qualifications for Adult Day Care Program Director:Required: Prior experience working in or managing an Adult Day Care program.Strong knowledge of New York State Adult Day Care regulations and DOH requirements.J-18808-Ljbffr
