This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the organization to meet business objectives. Work is up to 40 hours per week, generally 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Primary project for this internship will include a significant amount of file reorganization and database management.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with recruiting activities, including job postings, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, and candidate communication as requested.Support onboarding activities such as preparing new hire materials, coordinating orientation logistics, and assisting with onboarding documentation.Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including filing, document management, and data entry.Respond to basic employee inquiries and route requests appropriately.Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information at all times.Perform other HR-related duties and projects as assigned.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Proficient aptitude with technology including basic computer programs and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn and become proficient in applicable systems.Maintain a high degree of confidentiality with sensitive organizational and personnel information.Dependable and consistent attendance/punctuality.Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment while still completing independent work tasks/assignments.Ability to meet all functional requirements including, but not limited to: lifting (up to 30lbs), sitting, kneeling, standing, walking, bending, squatting, finger dexterity, and reaching above/below shoulders.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Completion of high school diploma/equivalent while currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.Strong interest in learning all aspects of Human Resources.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.This is a temporary, summer-only internship intended to provide educational and practical experience in Human Resources. Completion of the internship does not guarantee future employment.
