Principal Rhino Designer

Yoh has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Rhino Designer to join our Global Entertainment client. This role is focused on advanced 3D modeling, complex scenic geometry development, and Rhino-to-Revit integration workflows supporting high-profile themed entertainment and immersive environment projects. We are seeking a highly technical Rhino modeler with strong experience developing complex organic forms, scenic elements, and production-ready geometry within fast-paced creative studio environments. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in themed entertainment, architecture, industrial design, fabrication, experiential design, or scenic production who thrive working across artistic and technical disciplines. Title: Principal Rhino Designer Compensation: $80-100/hr (DoE) Type: 6 - 9 Month Contract Industry: Entertainment Key Responsibilities 3D Modeling & Geometry DevelopmentDevelop highly detailed Rhino 3D models for show sets, attractions, immersive environments, and scenic elementsModel complex organic geometry including rockwork, terrain, sculpted environments, and architectural featuresCreate clean, buildable geometry suitable for downstream Revit integration and fabrication workflowsTranslate concept art, sketches, CAD drawings, and design direction into accurate 3D modelsSupport iterative design development in fast-paced production environmentsRhino-to-Revit IntegrationPrepare and optimize Rhino geometry for Revit and BIM coordination workflowsCollaborate with Revit modelers and technical teams to maintain geometry integrity during model transferSupport hybrid Rhino/Revit project environments and cross-platform coordinationAssist in development of modeling standards and geometry optimization strategiesTechnical CoordinationCoordinate scenic geometry with structural, A/V, lighting, show control, and MEP systemsParticipate in interdisciplinary design coordination and clash resolution effortsSupport fabrication and installation teams with model updates and technical adjustmentsEnsure models remain organized, accurate, and production-ready throughout project lifecycleProject CollaborationWork closely with Art Directors, Show Set Designers, Engineers, and BIM teamsSupport project schedules, deliverables, and evolving creative inputsAssist in developing workflows for complex geometry and large-scale scenic environmentsMay support field coordination or vendor collaboration as requiredRequired Qualifications5+ years of professional Rhino 3D modeling experienceAdvanced proficiency in Rhino for complex scenic, architectural, or organic geometry developmentExperience working in themed entertainment, architecture, scenic design, fabrication, or immersive environmentsStrong understanding of Rhino-to-Revit workflows and geometry translationExperience modeling complex rockwork, terrain, and organic scenic formsAbility to interpret concept art and develop production-ready geometryExperience coordinating with technical disciplines including structural, MEP, lighting, or A/V systemsStrong spatial reasoning and visualization skillsAbility to manage evolving design inputs and fast-paced project demandsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Grasshopper and parametric modeling workflowsExperience supporting fabrication or construction documentation workflowsFamiliarity with BIM/IPD project environmentsExperience coordinating large-scale attraction or experiential projectsKnowledge of scenic fabrication methods, shotcrete, GFRC, or themed construction techniquesExperience with AutoCAD and/or RevitPrior entertainment studio or themed attraction project experience Estimated Min Rate: $84.00 Estimated Max Rate: $120.00What’s In It for You?We welcome you to be a part of the largest and legendary global staffing companies to meet your career aspirations.
