Welder Class B
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Perform diversified duties within the shop relating to the welding of various parts, assemblies, balers, etc. involved in the manufacture of the company's product lineMust be able to work from prints, bills of materials, work orders, etc. with little guidance from supervisionMonitor and keep group leader and supervision apprised of shortages, quality issues, and other roadblocks that may interfere with timely completion of production requirementsMaintain all necessary reports, records, Epicor, etc. daily as requiredMaintain a system of orderly storage of required tools, supplies, and parts required within the departmentEffectively communicate with supervision or group leader as necessary to establish and maintain proper flow of parts and information to and from your departmentCommunicate with group leader and supervision for print changes, updates, and modificationsPerform other duties as assigned by supervisionRequirementsMust be able to work from prints, bills of materials, work orders, etc. with little guidance from supervisionMust be able to proficiently burn, and weld using most currently accepted processes.
