Apply now to jumpstart your skilled craft career!Markets Hiring:Philadelphia, PA, Dover, DE, Richmond, VA, Williamsburg, VA, Newport News, VASalary Range:• $20 – $50 per hour (depending on experience)Benefits:• Paid Time Off• Medical• RetirementExperience & Education/Certification:• 1 year field experience repairing heavy construction equipment required• High school diploma, GED, or trade school preferred• Valid driver's license required• Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, and weekendsRequired Skills & Knowledge:• Knowledge of heavy construction machinery components including diesel engines, power transmissions, hydrostatic drives, and hydraulic systems• Diagnostic capabilities with hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems• Ability to make repair decisions quickly and rationally• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive material• Schedule work, recommend equipment downtime, and order parts as needed• Ability to give and receive written or oral instructions• Ability to work independently and safely• Basic skills in stick or MIG welding (or both)• Basic skills with OXY/Acetylene torchHere's what you'll be doing:• Repair and maintain production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation• Provide technical support to technicians or service personnel via phone, email, or on-site• Communicate effectively with field personnel and dispatch• Ensure quality repairs to minimize repeat work• Follow all governmental and company safety policies• Comply with Human Resources policies• Review tool requirements to improve efficiency• Report deficiencies to improve preventive maintenance programs• Participate in technical training and share knowledge with team members• Coordinate with dispatch and parts personnel for timely parts delivery• Collaborate with internal departments, field managers, and mechanics• Maintain required personal tools (company does not provide standard tools)• Keep service truck clean and organized• Comply with all Trimble/Telogis regulations
