Job Title: Process Engineer – Dry Etch | Job ID: 87235 | Location: Austin, Texas
What you will be doing
Experience working with dry etch systems (RIE, ICP RIE, etc.) and tool subsystems (RF power, gas delivery, etc.). Basic knowledge of chamber parts materials (Quartz, Silicon, Ceramic).
Etch experience in dielectric, polymers and metals preferred; a working knowledge of the physics of plasma etch is a plus
Familiarity with OEM platforms such as Trion, Lam, AMAT or TEL.
Experience with mask alignment (photo and hard mask) is a plus
Capable of working with physical vapor deposition systems (Sputtering, E-beam, etc.)
Utilize metrology to characterize process conditions and monitor equipment performance
Knowledge of DOE, SPC, and 6-sigma concepts and applications
Can work both independently and in cross-functional teams for problem solving
Process improvement by identifying, analyzing, and addressing any process gaps to improve production capability and quality
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), training manuals and documentation
Experience in working with foundries is a bonus
What you must have
BS in Mechanical, Electrical engineering or similar field, MS is a plus
3+ years’ semiconductor related work/laboratory/cleanroom experience in the dry etch area
Data-driven mindset with attention to detail
Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills
