Technical and Trade SchoolsBuilding Equipment ContractorsVentilation, Heating, Air-Conditioning, and Commercial Refrigeration Equipment ManufacturingHardware, and Plumbing and Heating Equipment and Supplies Merchant WholesalersNonresidential Building ConstructionSnapshot / Role OverviewWe're seeking an HVAC Superintendent in Sacramento, CA to lead field operations and deliver complex commercial mechanical projects on time and within budget.Impact- Ensure successful completion of high-profile commercial projects including hospitals, schools, airports, high-rises, and arenas- Drive field productivity and quality standards across multiple project sites- Develop and mentor journeymen and foremen to build a strong field workforce- Maintain safety compliance and minimize project delays through effective leadershipResponsibilities- Oversee daily field operations for commercial HVAC installations and special projects- Lead and supervise journeymen and foremen across multiple job sites- Coordinate installation of package units, split systems, VAVs, VRF systems, and water source heat pumps- Manage sheet metal and pipe fitting crews to ensure quality mechanical system installations- Review project plans and specifications to identify potential issues before they impact the schedule- Enforce safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance on all job sites- Collaborate with project managers and general contractors on scheduling and logistics- Conduct quality inspections and ensure installations meet code requirements- Track labor productivity and report progress to project management- Resolve field conflicts and coordinate with other tradesRequirementsMust-Haves- 8+ years of hands-on field experience in commercial HVAC installation- Proven leadership experience supervising journeymen and foremen- Strong background in sheet metal and/or pipe fitting for mechanical systems- Experience with commercial special projects including hospitals, schools, airports, high-rises, or arenas- Knowledge of package units, splits, VAVs, VRF, and water source heat pump installations- OSHA 30 certificationNice-to-Haves- Journeyman or Master HVAC license- Experience with design-build and fast-track projects- Bilingual English/Spanish- EPA Universal certificationCompensation & LogisticsCompetitive salary depending on experience; benefits include health insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and company vehicle.Call to ActionIf you're ready to advance your career in mechanical construction, apply today or connect with us to learn more.
