Project Engineer - Dynamic Engineering

Projects include working with several Fortune 500 companies, as well as working with local and regional developers with varying degrees of complexity.Review municipal zoning and land development ordinances and applicable agency regulations to determine land development limitations for the propertyPrepare Site Investigation and Due Diligence Reports to include the review of ordinances, utility service research, outside agency regulations and site visits to establish comprehensive development guidelinesPrepare Conceptual Site PlansPrepare preliminary Grading Plans and DesignDesign of Stormwater Management and Stormwater Conveyance Systems, Utility Systems and Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Design PlansPrepare construction cost estimatesPrepare project proposalsPrepare and manage project budgetsProject coordination with client, other consultants and project team for the purpose of preparing a comprehensive site plan applicationPrepare technical reports including drainage, sanitary sewer and site investigation reportsPrepare written correspondence to outside agencies, client, contractor, etc.Present to planning and zoning boards, municipal agencies and project teamsPerform other duties as assignedBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering5+ years’ experience in Civil Site Engineering (residential, institutional, industrial, and/or commercial site design and permitting experience)Engineer-In-Training (EIT) requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) requiredValid driver’s licenseAbility to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicleProficient with AutoCAD Civil 3DKnowledge of Truck and Turning & Modeling softwareIn depth knowledge of the planning and zoning processKnowledge of Hydrologic and Hydraulic and Stormwater DesignProficient in design and drafting capabilitiesProficient grading and drainage design skillsUtility design experience including pump station and force mainsExperience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionalsProficient in the use of available mapping websites for due diligence and site investigation purposesConstruction support experienceProficient in the use of the following design tools for site engineeringAutoCAD Civil3DHydrology Software i.e. Hydraflow, HydroCAD, PondPackHydraulic Software i.e. Hydraflow, StormCAD, Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA)HEC-RAS Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, Outlook and ProjectProficient in the use of Bluebeam Revu and/or Adobe to prepare design document markupsExcellent written and oral communication skillsIndependent and critical thinking abilitiesSuperior organizational and delegation abilityAbility to work and lead in a team oriented environment with a focus on staff development and mentoringClient management experienceAt Dynamic, we believe great careers are built through meaningful work, continuous growth, and strong relationships. The posted salary range reflects the anticipated hiring range for the position at the time of posting. Starting compensation will be determined based on an individual's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
