As a Cost Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the ongoing success of our client's program offices by leveraging your expertise with defense cost estimating. In addition to being able to obtain a Secret security clearance, ideal candidates will: Possess a BS degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering or an equivalent degree. Have a minimum of 5 years' experience with defense cost estimating Have experience in constructing complex cost estimates, evaluating proposals and writing Technical Advisory Reports (TARs) or equivalent cost evaluation reports. Have experience in Cost/Benefit Analyses (CBAs), Learning Curve and Quantity Curve models, and Regression analysis. Be skilled in the construction and use of complex Microsoft Excel cost models and databases. Hold an active PCEA or CCEA certification Herren Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
