Shipping/Receiving Worker

Job Description Job Summary The Shipping/Receiving Worker is responsible for safely navigating the shipping yard, managing inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring accurate documentation through SAP. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying environmental conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely navigate the shipping yard and maintain a secure workplaceUnderstand Client products to ensure accurate handling and shipmentUtilize SAP to enter, track, and print shipping/receiving informationCheck in trucks and process PGI (Post Goods Issue) for outbound shipmentsMaintain standard housekeeping of the warehouse and lift trucksClimb and descend stairs/ladders as neededPerform repetitive movements including bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs)Handle raw materials and finished goods with care and accuracyWithstand exposure to temperature extremes, noise, dust, and dirtExecute repetitive tasks while maintaining safety and efficiencyRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to communicate effectively with team members and supervisorsExperience using SAP or similar warehouse management systems preferred1–3 years of relevant shipping/receiving or warehouse experienceKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in documentationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommitment to workplace safety and housekeeping standardsPhysical stamina to perform repetitive movements and lift heavy materialsBasic computer skills for SAP and reportingWorking ConditionsExposure to temperature extremes (0–120 degrees)Noise levels requiring hearing protectionWork surfaces may include concreteIndoor and outdoor work as requiredEducation: High SchoolCompany DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
