Construction Project Manager
Project Manager – Multi-Family & Renovation Construction📍 Phoenix, AZ💰 Direct Hire | $100,000–$125,000 DOEA growing construction organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multi-family housing and large-scale renovation projects throughout Arizona and surrounding regions. This role is ideal for a construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values strong client relationships, and takes ownership of project success from preconstruction through closeout.The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, budget and scheduling expertise, and experience managing complex projects valued at $12M+.Responsibilities• Manage single or multiple construction projects from start to finish • Review and administer prime contracts and subcontract agreements • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls • Lead weekly OAC meetings and maintain proactive communication with clients and subcontractors • Monitor project progress, schedules, change orders, and quality standards • Partner closely with Superintendents to build strong, accountable project teams • Approve invoices, oversee monthly draws, and maintain accurate project documentation • Ensure all project activities align with company policies, safety standards, and client expectations • Maintain detailed electronic project records and documentation • Promote strong customer relationships that support repeat business opportunities • Utilize Sage 300, JobPlanner, and related project management software for project administration Qualifications• 5+ years of Project Management experience within multi-family construction, hotel renovations, or similar commercial projects • Experience managing projects valued at $12M+ • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related field • Strong understanding of: o Construction scheduling o Budget management and cost control o Risk assessment and safety protocols o Blueprint and contract review o Building codes and construction procedures • Proven ability to anticipate and resolve project issues proactively • Experience with: o Sage 300 o Sage Timberline Estimating o JobPlanner o Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project • Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills • Ability to travel to projects within and outside Arizona as needed Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThis position requires a combination of office and onsite project work. Candidates must be comfortable walking active job sites, climbing uneven surfaces, lifting up to 50 lbs., and performing the physical responsibilities associated with construction project management.
