Job Description Senior Estimator - ConstructionSenior Estimator - ConstructionPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator in the construction industry to lead our estimating team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating for healthcare, laboratory, or education projects, ensuring accurate and competitive bids while adhering to project timelines and budgets.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for construction projects, specifically in the healthcare, laboratory, and/or education sector.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and other documentation to determine project costs.Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.Review bid documents and proposals, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and scope of work.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators and team members.Participate in project meetings and provide input on budget management and cost control strategies.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on healthcare, laboratory, and/or education projects.Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and technology.Proficiency in estimating software and tools.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail.BenefitsPaid HolidaysVacationInsurance401K plan- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
