AOG Technician

NJ PBI - West Palm Beach, FL APA - Denver, CO MDW - Chicago, IL Nationwide Floater Opportunity We are seeking experienced and driven AOG Technicians to join our Mobile Service Unit (MSU) team. In this high-impact role, you will respond to aircraft-on-ground (AOG) events, delivering rapid, on-site maintenance services to external customers across a variety of business and corporate aviation platforms. This is a 7-on / 7-off rotational position, offering a competitive hourly wage and the opportunity to make a direct impact on operational uptime. You'll provide service across aircraft types including Gulfstream, Bombardier, Cessna, King Air, Embraer, and more. Rapidly deploy to AOG events and perform high-quality maintenance in the fieldTroubleshoot and resolve discrepancies efficiently and in compliance with FAA and OEM requirementsCommunicate directly with external customers to manage expectations, scope of work, and completion timelinesAccurately document all maintenance performed using internal systemsMaintain readiness of assigned AOG vehicle, tools, and inventoryUphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service on-siteEnsure all actions are performed with safety and regulatory compliance at the forefront. Required Skills and Abilities: Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skillsClear, professional communication with external clientsProficiency with maintenance tracking software (CAMP, Corridor, Airtable, etc.)Ability to work independently and represent the company on-siteDetail-oriented, organized, and customer-service focused Work Environment: Extended hours or weekend work may be required based on AOG demand and customer volumeThe role requires rapid response to aircraft AOG situations, sometimes in high-pressure or adverse conditions. Required education and experience Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) CertificateMinimum 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with recent AOG or field service experience strongly preferred Proficiency with one or more platforms: Gulfstream (GIV-G700)Bombardier (Challenger, Global)Cessna Citation seriesKing Air 90/200/350Embraer Phenom or LegacyValid driver's license and ability to travel on short noticeCapable of lifting 50 lbs. and working in challenging physical environmentsMust be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorshipCandidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment.
