Job Type – Long Term ContractLocation – Hybrid – Miramar, FL or Dallas, TXRequirements - GC holder or USC requiredOverview:The Senior UKG Software Engineer enhances and maintains software products by translating backlog items into technical designs that meet business needs, while determining the technical feasibility of features. Senior Software Engineers provide strategic solutions for issues, review technical design specifications, and ensure quality in development practices. Additionally, the Senior Software Engineer guides other engineers in configuration tasks to maintain platform stability and usability. By collaborating closely with Business Systems Analysts, Test/QA Engineers, and Product Managers, the Staff Software Engineer is instrumental in driving the achievement of key business objectives.Responsibilities: Ensure high-quality software deliverables by leveraging best practices.Determine technical feasibility criteria and identify the next steps and actions for software and features.Design, configure, and customize UKG Workforce Dimensions solutions to meet business and operational requirements.Provide backend support and enhancements across UKG Workforce Dimensions modules, including:Workforce Dimensions • Workforce Dimensions Timekeeping • Workforce Dimensions Accruals • Workforce Dimensions Absence • Workforce Dimensions AnalyticsDevelop, support, and maintain integrations using the Dell Boomi Workforce Dimensions Integration Platform.Support and troubleshoot integrations between UKG Workforce Dimensions and external systems, including SAP and SuccessFactors.Configure and support the Workforce Dimensions Outlook Plugin as needed.Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver enhancements.Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure reliability and data accuracy.Document configurations, integrations, and technical processes following best practices.Requirements:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.5+ years of experience as a developer, programmer, software engineer, or other relevant role.Deep understanding of UKG Workforce Dimensions and strong functional knowledge of UKG modules including:PayrollAccrualsCRTDeep understanding of UKG Workforce Dimensions with strong functional knowledge across core modules.Proven experience configuring and customizing UKG Workforce Dimensions to support complex business needs.Experience working in any modules of SAP/S4 HCM/SuccessFactors is highly preferredExperience using engineering methodologies; related certification or professional engineer designation desirable.Experience with multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Scala, JavaScript, C++, Python).Experience with development platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Pega, Docker, Kubernetes).Proficient in software development lifecycle and agile practices.
