Assembler I - Cohasset 1st ShiftThis position is responsible for performing highly repetitive folding procedures (with or without a table fixture) of die cut plastic blanks. Essential functions include simple assembly such as folding plastic blanks, productivity below standard, participation in team stretching and other injury prevention activities before shift and after break times, participation in continuous improvement programs, employing effective, respectful communication skills, ensuring compliance with work instructions and/or Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, ensuring adherence to all current company policies, maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and others including wearing mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), functioning effectively in a fast paced, diverse, team environment, and assisting with department cleanliness and housekeeping. Other duties as assigned.No prior experience needed. Ongoing support provided. Ability to read, recognizes, or understands simple general instructions. Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check. Verified eligibility for employment in the United States.Environment and physical demands include continuously working in a typical factory environment (high noise levels, machinery, conveyors, dust, chemical, odors and temperature fluctuations). Continuously stands, pushes, pulls, reaches, and handles. Continuous repetitive motion of upper extremities including continual flexion and extension of wrists, pinching, reaching, and grasping. Frequently fingers, lifts, carries, and stoops (occasional maximum lift of 20 lbs). Occasionally walks, and works close to moving parts.Behaviors: Team Player - Works well as a member of a group.
