Position Details
Full-time, onsite position
School year begins August 6, 2026 with district in-service
School year ends approximately May 27, 2027
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (7.5-hour workday)
Provide services across four school buildings
Consistent weekday schedule with evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks off
Responsibilities
Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide individualized therapy services
Develop and implement treatment plans that address students' communication needs
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, families, and other related service providers
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Support students in developing the communication skills needed for academic, social, and functional success
This full-time, onsite opportunity offers the chance to work with students across four school buildings while collaborating with educators, administrators, and related service providers to help students achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
Current Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathology License required
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
School-based experience is preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive annual salary: $60,000-$70,000
