Principle Engineer - TypeScript Node Developer

Job Overview We’re seeking a hands-on Principal Engineer with the ability to both develop high-quality code and lead disciplined Agile delivery. Responsibilities: Own and drive the Agile delivery model for Document Shared Services (DMS, IDP, Box, GraphQL, PDF). Create and manage Jira epics, stories, sprint plans, and burn-down charts. Write and review production-grade TypeScript/Node.js code in our mono-repo, ensuring adherence to PR standards, automated testing, and CI/CD processes. Required Skills: 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years leading Agile delivery for SaaS or cloud platforms. Strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, GraphQL (Apollo or similar), and AWS CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, CodeBuild, etc.). Proven ability to deliver product features and manage backlogs and burn-downs without the need for dedicated PM support. Solid understanding of observability tools (OTEL, Grafana, New Relic) and automated testing practices. Preferred Expertise: Experience with PDF/Form generation based on complex rules and templates. Strong background in TypeScript and Cloud (AWS) architectures. Nice to Have: Familiarity with Box platform, Panorama, DMS, IDP, or large-scale PDF generation systems. Experience working in financial services or PCI-regulated environments.
