Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities: Provides skilled, compassionate care and coordinates patient care. Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Minimum Qualifications: Experience: Required 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, for Critical Care units, 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship. Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date. Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start | For Critical Care Units: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - Within 6 Months | For Pediatric Units: Pediatric Advanced Life Support- Within 6 Months | For Infusion Center Units: Obtain chemo card- within 3 months of hire. Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license. Preferred Qualifications: Recent (within the past year) Registered Nurse (RN) experience on an inpatient med/surge unit. (BSN) Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
