Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for an excellent position based near Vienna, GA or surrounding area. Responsibilities include: Collaborate closely with designers and engineers on R&D projects Produce precise 2D and 3D designs and models Identify and resolve design or drawing issues Compile complete design packages—including models, drawings, BOM's, etc. Generate thorough, accurate reports and documentation Serve as a technical point of contact with clients on assigned projects Clearly communicate design intent, system operations, and job requirements to team members and stakeholders Detect mechanical design problems early and ensure corrective actions are implemented Participate in safety meetings, promote safety awareness, and contribute to Kaizen initiatives Perform all work in full compliance with company policies, procedures, and engineering standards. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or other Engineering degree is required. 1-5 years of professional experience in an engineering role. Proven hands‑on experience with 3D design and drafting is essential. Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks Strong analytical thinking, mechanical insight, and troubleshooting skills are critical. Solid organizational abilities combined with a self‑starting, proactive approach are necessary.
