Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it.**Description**The Capital Expenditure Budgeting Program Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining capital equipment budgets for both new and sustaining products. This is a high visibility position that requires frequent executive level interaction and clear, effective messaging of critical program information. This role is integral in helping to identify and drive areas of cost reduction and optimization throughout the product life cycle. It requires active collaboration across numerous domestic and in-region business segments, including Product Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance. Engagement begins as early as the product concept review stage and continues through program ramp/intro and sustaining phases. In this role, you should thrive at gathering and analyzing large amounts of data at a macro and micro level and then extracting the relevant takeaways to enable better informed business decisions.Partner with engineering and operations teams throughout the product development cycle to understand financial impact inspired by feature and process changesLead cross functional alignment in development of capital expenditure cost models - Actively drive cost savings opportunities, perform break even analysis, return on investment and trade-off analysisAttain budget approvals to facilitate timely equipment delivery to the factories - Track and analyze spend against budgetsProvide inputs to financial forecasts and quarter end close periodsProduce quality deliverables and insightful presentations to senior leadership - Develop tools and processes that lead to improved team and organizational performanceWillingness to travel internationally 10-15%**Minimum Qualifications**+ 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain operations, and ops finance+ Strong project management and time management capabilities+ Excellent verbal/written communication and executive presentation skills+ Strong cross-functional teamwork and interpersonal skills+ Influence across key stakeholder teams to make data-informed decisions+ Comfortable working with large data sets in Excel, Tableau, and other platforms+ Proficiency in finance and key business concepts.
