This assignment offers the potential for future career growth and expanded opportunities for individuals who demonstrate strong performance and alignment with organizational needs.What You Will DoLead daily accounts payable operations for a high volume, on site finance function, ensuring invoices, payments, and vendor activity are processed accurately and on scheduleSupervise and support accounts payable staff, helping prioritize workflow, resolve issues, and maintain consistency across the functionReview vendor setup updates, payment controls, and banking details to strengthen accuracy, compliance, and fraud prevention effortsOversee weekly payment activity, including check and electronic disbursements, while helping manage exceptions and improve visibility into cash activityPartner with accounting and operational leaders on month end close support, reconciliations, reporting needs, and audit readinessUse SAP and related systems to monitor transaction flow, improve efficiency, and maintain organized documentationHelp identify process improvements that can streamline work, reduce delays, and support a lean, collaborative team environmentWhat We Are Looking ForCurrent or recent title of Accounts Payable Manager strongly preferredHands on SAP experience within an accounts payable environment is requiredPrior leadership experience in accounts payable, including team oversight and workload coordinationExperience in a high-volume processing environment, ideally within manufacturing or another operationally complex settingBackground in vendor management, month end support, reporting, and payment operationsStrong communication, organization, and problem solving skillsAble to work on site full time and step confidently into a fast moving assignmentAbout Blue Signal:Blue Signal is an award-winning, executive search firm specializing in finance & accounting recruiting.
