Technicians perform scheduled and on-demand treatments, complete all required service documentation, communicate professionally with customers, and operate in full compliance with company policies, state pesticide regulations, and label requirements. This role works under the direct supervision of a Service Manager – Pest Control as required by applicable state law.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesService DeliveryPerform scheduled pest control services for residential and/or commercial accounts on assigned routeIdentify and assess pest activity, conducive conditions, and evidence of infestation at each propertyApply pesticides and pest management materials in strict accordance with label directions, company protocols, and state regulationsInstall, monitor, and service bait stations, traps, and other pest management devicesPerform interior and exterior treatments using appropriate equipment (sprayers, dusters, bait guns)Identify and communicate structural deficiencies or conditions contributing to pest activity to customersComplete follow-up and callback services as assigned, ensuring customer satisfactionDocumentation & ComplianceComplete all required service records for every visit — including products applied, EPA registration numbers, amounts used, target pests, treatment areas, and re-entry intervalsRecord customer notification delivery and ensure all documentation is submitted on the same dayUse company mobile software or paper records to complete service reports accurately and on timeReport any product discrepancies, spills, or application errors to the Manager immediatelyMaintain personal license documentation and ensure credentials are current and accessiblCustomer CommunicationArrive on time, in clean uniform, with a professional and courteous demeanorCommunicate re-entry interval requirements clearly at every service — verbally and in writing as requiredLeave service documentation (door hangers, service reports) when customers are not presentNotify/document customers of any unusual pest activity, damage observed, or recommended follow-up actionsEscalate customer complaints or concerns to the Manager — do not attempt to resolve warranty or service disputes independentlyVehicle & EquipmentConduct pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issuesMaintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service vehicle alwaysSafely transport, handle, and store all pesticide products per DOT and company requirementsProperly clean, maintain, and store all application equipment after each useEnsure all required placards, permits, and documents are current and present in the vehicleSafetyWear and properly use all required PPE (personal protective equipment) for every applicationFollow all company safety protocols and OSHA guidelinesImmediately report any accidents, pesticide exposures, or near-miss incidents to the ManagerAttend all required safety training meetings and complete assigned safety coursesNever apply a product without reviewing the label first — the label is the lawPosition RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)Valid state pest control technician license or registration — OR ability to obtain within 90 days of hire (varies by state)Valid driver's license with a clean driving record acceptable to company insurance requirementsAbility to pass a background check and drug screenBasic reading and writing skills sufficient to complete service records and follow product labelsReliable, punctual, and physically capable of performing field work in variable conditionsPreferred Qualifications1+ years of pest control, lawn care, or related field service experienceExisting state pest control technician license or registrationFamiliarity with common structural pests: termites, ants, cockroaches, rodents, bed bugs, mosquitoesExperience using pest control business software or mobile service appsCustomer service or field service experience in any industryPhysical Requirements & Working ConditionsPhysically demanding outdoor and indoor work in all weather conditionsRegular lifting and carrying of equipment and chemical containers up to 50 lbs.Crawlspace and attic access — must be able to work in confined, low-clearance spacesExposure to pesticide chemicals — proper PPE required and provided by companyBending, kneeling, and working in awkward positions is routineEarly morning start times — typical schedule is Monday through Friday with some Saturday availability requiredDriving a company vehicle daily — clean driving record is mandatoryBenefits, Perks, And CultureCompetitive base salaryHealthcare Plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life)401k Company Matching Plan, after 90-days of employmentMaternity, Paternal, and Additional Leave OptionsRemote PositionFlexible Personal Time Off (PTO)Fun and collaborative work environment with training and feedback-rich culture.Apply Now!To be considered, applicants must reside in geographical territory: Dallas, TXJoin a team where your work makes a daily difference, not just to our clients but to the environment.
