Job Title: Field Sales Engineer – Automation SensorsLocation: California, Remote with Travel Required Job Overview:We are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled Field Sales Engineer to join our team, specializing in Automation Sensors. In this role, you will be the primary technical resource for our customers, providing expert support and solutions for their sensor needs in industrial automation applications. Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities to provide tailored sensor solutions.Provide technical guidance and product recommendations to customers across industries, including manufacturing, packaging, automotive, and more.Achieve or exceed sales targets within your assigned territory by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.Execute sales strategies to increase market share and drive the adoption of our automation sensor product portfolio.Identify emerging trends and provide feedback to the product development team to influence future product enhancements and innovations.Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to represent the company and generate leads.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related technical field.3+ years of experience in technical sales, field applications, or engineering, preferably within industrial automation or sensor technologies.Strong understanding of automation sensor products, including photoelectric, proximity, vision sensors, and more.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a customer-facing, technical role.
