ResponsibilitiesAs a OT - Hand Therapist, You'll Achieve Success By:Reviewing patient medical history and developing individualized treatment plansDiagnosing patients by observing movements and listening to concernsUsing exercises, stretching, equipment, and manual therapy to manage pain and improve mobilityRecording patient progress and modifying treatment plans as neededQualificationsOccupational Therapist - Hand Therapist Requirements:Licensed Occupational Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient successBasic computer skillsCPR and first aid certification requiredCertified Hand Therapist (CHT) strongly preferred ORCHT-eligible (minimum 4,000 hours of hand therapy experience and 3 years of practice), awaiting board examination, ORLevel II fieldwork in hand therapy, with relevant continuing education, and 1-2 years of outpatient hand therapy experience as a licensed OT, ORNew grads with Level II fieldwork in hand therapy with a a strong clinical interest in upper extremity rehabilitation and a commitment to pursuing advanced training and certification in hand therapyExperience or familiarity with orthopedic hand therapy preferred; exposure to pediatric orthopedic patients and occasional pediatric cases is a plus, though not requiredCompensation: $85K - $108K+ inclusive of productivity incentives, with additional compensation opportunities for certifications.
