Cloud DevOps Engineer With KubernetesThe Cloud DevOps Engineer with Kubernetes will be responsible for building and maintaining the company's Kubernetes infrastructure. They will work with the development and operations teams to ensure that the Kubernetes infrastructure is able to handle the company's workloads. They will also be responsible for creating and maintaining the company's Kubernetes configuration files. This is a highly technical, hands-on role that requires a wide and deep experience in managing infrastructure and applications across data centers and cloud services. This position requires practical knowledge of Kubernetes, Azure public cloud platform, software engineering, operations and automation. Responsibilities Designing, developing, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters and applications Monitoring and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters and applications Automating deployment and scaling of Kubernetes clusters and applications Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes applications Developing, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of containerized infrastructure Perform Regular Patching of Kubernetes clusters Performing security patching of clusters Providing strategic architectural recommendations Making recommendations on Node sizing Ensuring solutions are well-engineered, maintainable, and delivered on schedule Monitoring the availability, latency, and overall system health Designing distributed systems and troubleshooting in upstream Kubernetes Configuration of updates of Kubernetes Clusters that follow industry best practices Providing Standard Architectural design for K8s Clusters Deploying Cert-Manager (work with Security Team) Deploying ArgoCD pipelines to support new clusters Key Qualifications Strong Kubernetes knowledge and experience. 2+ years continuous experience deploying distributed apps with containers & orchestration (Kubernetes) Required CKA certification Preferred Kubernetes CKS, CKAD certifications 3+ years development experience in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible). 2+ years experience operating and developing infrastructure and services in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). 3+ years development experience in configuration management (Terraform, ARM/Bicep) 2+ years experience deploying with a CI orchestration service Experience developing infrastructure and application security (IAM, CI/CD, PKI) 5+ years experience working in Infrastructure and network technologies A continuous learner and a critical thinker. A team player with great communication skills both verbal and written. Excellent communications skills, capable of working with cross functional technical and business teams and varying levels of management, in a professional manner. Information Systems or similar undergraduate degree
