Below is a brief description of role responsibilities.Duties and Responsibilities:Join metal components or fabricated assembliesCut, trim, or grind metal objects to dimensions per layout, work order, or blueprintsOperate plasma cutter and oxy/acetylene torchOperate hand grinder, power tools, saw, and ironworkerOperate welding machineCarbon Arc, torch, and plasma cuttingSet up and fit up componentsBuild fabrications to blueprints holding tolerancesPerform finish weldingOperate machinery including vertical bandsaw, punch press, and BridgeportWork independently and with a teamOther duties as assignedSkills And Experience1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related areaWelding certificate preferredAluminum welding experience preferredWorking knowledge of welding techniquesKnowledge of materials and welding wiresUsually assigned to one area but must possess the ability to perform in several areas and will be assigned to several if required.Work requires decisions using ingenuity, initiative, and sound judgment.Personal protective equipment is required and supplied by Terex.Compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety requiredBasic mathematical skillsParts preparation skillsRigging/hoisting operationsForklift experienceStick, gas, mig, tig welding experienceFamiliar with respiratory equipmentPhysical requirements:Prolonged periods of standing on concrete flooringAbility to wear a supplied-air respirator without restrictions, with ability to perform work duties while wearing respiratorMust be able to lift up to 40 pounds unassistedPushing/pulling/crouching/crawling/laying to assemble machinery, regularlyWalking, bending, kneeling, climbing, regularlyWorking at height on occasion, ascending/descending ladder, or stairsRepetitive motions that may include the wrist, hands, or fingersAbility to work in all weather conditionsAbility to work in a manufacturing environment where loud noise is presentAbout TerexTerex Corporation is a global leader in specialized equipment solutions, serving essential sectors such as emergency services, waste and recycling, utilities, and construction.
