Tool Crib Attendant

Wipro Aerospace USA is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant responsible for the control, distribution, tracking, and maintenance of tooling, equipment, and consumables used in manufacturing operations. This role ensures that production teams have the right tools at the right time, while maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring compliance with company standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.Company Benefits - Why work with Wipro GivonCompetitive Base Pay - $24 - $32/hourStandard 10 hour shifts - 4 day work weeksExcellent Health, Dental, and Vision optionsPaid Time Off and Company Paid HolidaysCompany Paid Life Insurance401k with Company MatchSupplement Insurance OptionsOnsite Employee EventsAbilities - Are you a good fit:EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience·2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or tool crib environment preferredAerospace or CNC machining environment strongly preferredTechnical SkillsFamiliarity with cutting tools, measuring devices, and shop equipmentExperience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred) or inventory tracking systemsStrong organizational and attention-to-detail skillsBasic computer skills (Excel, inventory systems)Ability to read basic technical documents and tool specificationsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 25 pounds regularlyAbility to push/pull up to 50 pounds regularlyFrequent standing, walking, and reaching for long periodsAbility to work in a shop/manufacturing environmentJob Duties and Responsibilities - What will you do daily:Tool Control & DistributionIssue and receive tools, equipment, and supplies to authorized personnelMaintain accurate records of tool usage, calibration status, and locationEnsure proper identification, tagging, and storage of all toolsInventory ManagementMonitor tool crib inventory levels, including consumables (cutting tools, inserts, PPE, etc.)Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy in ERP systemInitiate reorders and coordinate with purchasing to prevent stock outsTool Maintenance & CalibrationTrack calibration schedules and remove out-of-calibration tools from circulationCoordinate repair, replacement, or sharpening of toolsEnsure compliance with quality and aerospace standardsOrganization & 5SMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient tool crib in alignment with 5S principlesOptimize storage systems for accessibility and efficiencyProduction SupportSupport machinists, assembly technicians, and engineers with tooling needsIdentify opportunities to improve tooling availability and reduce downtimeAssist in tooling setup kits for jobs when applicableDocumentation & ComplianceMaintain accurate logs and documentation for audits (ISO, AS9100, etc.)Due to our participation in U.S. export control programs under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), applicants must be a "U.S. Person" as defined in ITAR 120.15.
