JANITOR

Janitor Position We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Janitor. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, bathrooms, kitchen and dining room and public areas.Examples of Janitor responsibilities:Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directedManage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lotComplete non-routine cleaning according to specified job ordersRemove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-upHandle emergency cleaning and upkeep requestsExamples of Janitor skills:2+ years janitorial experienceHigh school diploma/GED requiredWillingness to work early morning or late night shiftsAbility to work well under minimal supervisionCapacity to take directionStrong attention to detailPhysically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
